Specialist in Endodontics
David is dedicated to providing high quality care. He is recognised as a specialist in Endodontics by the General Dental Council and has developed a reputation for his diagnostic and microsurgical skills.
He founded Taunton Dental Practice in 2014 and lives locally with his young family.
He was awarded the specialist diploma of membership in restorative dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, representing the highest accolade attainable in restorative dentistry from the Royal College. He holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a Fellowship of the newly formed College of General Dentistry.
David undertook specialist training in Endodontics at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institue, London. He has a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree, in Endodontology, from University College London, which combined specialist practice with research. He was the initiator of stem research into novel techniques for real-time detection of bacteria whilst based at UCL. He undertook his primary Dental degree at the University of Bristol. He has previously received a clinical research award from the British Endodontic Society and holds memberships with the British Endodontic Society, the Association of Dental Implantology, ITI, the British Society of Restorative Dentistry and is the Chairman of the Taunton and Area Branch of the British Dental Association.
